Subaru dealer shares the love with animal shelter

Grand Junction Subaru has once again selected the Roice-Hurst Humane Society as the beneficiary of its Share the Love charity event.

For every new Subaru sold or leased at Grand Junction Subaru through Jan. 2, Subaru will donate $250 to the Grand Valley animal shelter and adoption center.

“Roice-Hurst is a strong partner of Grand Junction Subaru, and the Share the Love event is a tremendous way to give back and do good. We are happy to be able to help their mission,” said Ron Bubar, owner of Grand Junction Subaru.

A total of $50 million has been donated nationwide over the past seven years through the Subaru Share the Love event. Last year, Grand Junction Subaru donated $14,189 to the Roice-Hurst Humane Society.

“Grand Junction Subaru has been such a generous supporter of Roice-Hurst over the years. We are extremely honored and grateful to be chosen once again as their hometown charity,” said Sonya Foster, president of the Roice-Hurst board of directors.
