Subaru donates science books

Grand Junction Subaru donated about 350 science books to the Dual Immersion Academy as part of a national initiative.

“We know the deepest learning happens when students have the tools they need to inspire new ways of thinking and seeing the world. We hope that this donation will inspire more future scientists, engineers and innovators,” said Evan Contreras, sales manager at Grand Junction Subaru.

The dealer joined with Subaru of America in the Subaru Loves Learning initiative supporting the American Association for the Advancement of Science in which more than 40,000 science books will be donated to schools across the country.

Grand Junction Subaru is located at 651 Market Street near the intersection of Market Street and 24 Road. For more information, call 241-2414 or log on to the website located at www.rockymtnsubaru.com.
