Grand Junction Subaru has donated the use of a new vehicle to Dave Fleming, volleyball coach at Colorado Mesa University.
The 2017 Subaru Forester is wrapped in a CMU volleyball design.
Ron Bubar, owner of Grand Junction Subaru, said the donation recognizes the success of Fleming and his teams over the years. “The volleyball team has done amazing things for more than a decade under the guidance of head coach Dave Fleming. This is a way for them to be honored and recognized for their winning ways.”
Over the course of 10 seasons as head coach, Fleming has compiled a 209-121 record. He’s guided CMU to five NCAA Division II national tournament berths as well as one regular season, one tournament and three west division titles in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
“The car looks great and will definitely capture people’s attention on the road,” Bubar said. “It’s dynamic and very eye-popping.”
Fleming agreed. “It’s definitely impressive. We feel very fortunate to receive this recognition.”
