Subaru shares the love with Colorado Discover Ability

Grand Junction Subaru will continue to share the love in an annual event with the same name in which the dealership will donate $250 for every new Subaru sold or leased until Jan. 2 to Colorado Discover Ability.

The Grand Junction-based organization promotes the independence and self-confidence of people with disabilities through outdoor recreation, including camping, cycling and snow and water sports.

“We are passionate about using this platform to positively impact our community,” said Ron Bubar, owner of Grand Junction Subaru. “CDA affords people the opportunity to conquer their dreams no matter what their disability might be. It’s an organization that truly promotes and encompasses empowerment, and we are so happy to help them help others on their journey.”

Terry Harper, executive director of Colorado Discover Ability, welcomed the news. “We are thrilled to be the recipients of the Share the Love event. Donations are an integral part of our organization. And without the support of people like Ron Bubar, Grand Junction Subaru and Subaru of America, we would not be able to continue our great mission.”

Over the past four years, Grand Junction Subaru has donated more than $50,000 to local nonprofit organizations through the Share the Love event.
