Page Tucker loves to talk about what he calls tech and rec in the Grand Valley.
There’s the potential, Tucker believes, to establish a local technology hub that includes not only his company, ProStar Geocorp, but also other tech firms. Outdoor recreation could play an important role in not only attracting tech firms, but also companies that provide products and services for recreation, he asserts.
As it turns out, the Grand Valley is off to a good start if the Colorado Companies to Watch awards program is any indication. ProStar and Bonsai Design, a Grand Junction firm that designs, builds and installs adventure courses and ziplines, were among the 50 latest winners of the annual awards recognizing fast-growing Colorado businesses.
Congratulations to these companies for their latest accomplishments. Here’s to the prospect of more tech and rec in the Grand Valley.
