Tiki Bird is leasing the building at 119 N. Seventh St., which is owned by the Wick family, who used to own Junct’n Square Pizza and operate it there until selling the business but keeping the building last year. Tiki Bird had to do a major renovation of the interior, but first came asbestos mitigation, and Matt Chasseur said the Wicks paid for that.

“That was part of it, for us coming in, is they had to take care of all of that, which they did, which was great,” Matt Chasseur said.
