A party scheduled for June 6 will celebrate the launch of a specially branded wine to raise money for the Mesa County Libraries Foundation.

The party is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 6 at Grande River Vineyards, 787 N. Elberta Ave. in Palisade. The event is free and open to the public.

Grande River Vineyards produces and bottles the Grape Gatsby, a white table wine. The Grape Gatsby will be available for tasting and purchase at the party.

The Grape Gatsby is available at Grande River Vineyards and Fisher’s Liquor Barn in Grand Junction.
A portion of the sale of each bottle goes to the foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports special projects and events at the library.

Grande River Vineyards also produces and bottles Well Read, a red table wine, to raise money for the foundation.
