Advance tickets are on sale for an annual benefit event for the Commemorative Air Force Rocky Mountain Wing.
A 1940s style hangar dance is set or Aug. 24 at the CAF Aviation Heritage Museum at the Grand Junction Regional Airport.
To get to the museum, take a right on Eagle Drive to Navigator’s Way toward security gate 10. Directional signs will be posted.
The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for veterans and their families. Dance lessons are set for 6, followed at 7 by live big band music performed by Swing City Express.
Advance tickets sell for $20 for individuals and $35 for couples. Tickets will sell at the door for $5 more.

Proceeds from the dance will go to the CAF and its mission to restore and maintain World War II era aircraft and related memorabilia, honor those who flew and support aircraft and educate and entertain current and future generations.
