Timberline Bank headquartered in Grand Junction has earned recognition as one of the top regional banks in the United States.

Timberline Bank was included among America’s best regional banks and credit unions for 2024 in a ranking compiled by Newsweek magazine and Plant-A Insights Group, a market data research firm.

“As we celebrate our 20-year anniversary as a locally owned and operated community bank, it is a true honor to be recognized by Newsweek as one of the top 250 regional banks in the United States,” said Jeff Taets, co-chief executive officer of Timberline Bank.

“We believe in fostering genuine connections with our customers and employees, and this recognition is a testimony to that mission,” Taets said. “We remain committed to redefining the way banking is experienced, and we are excited to continue this path with the support of our incredible community and employees.”

The ranking of the top 250 regional banks and top 250 credit unions took into account profitability, financial relevance and overall health and stability. Social media reviews also were considered.

Timberline Bank also has received recognition from the U.S. Small Business Administration as a rural lender. Timberline Bank was among 50 firms to receive 2016 awards in the Colorado Companies to Watch program.

In addition to its location at 649 Market St. in Grand Junction, Timberline Bank operates locations in Aspen and Montrose. For more information, call (970) 683-5560 or log on to www.timberlinebank.com.
