Grand Junction Toastmasters is inviting local students ages 13-18 to speak up, build confidence and discover their leadership potential through a free, four-week Youth Leadership Program this fall.

The program meets Mondays, October 5, 12, 19 and 26, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at the Mesa County Central Library, 443 N. Sixth Street. It is designed to help students develop public speaking, leadership, critical-thinking and communication skills in a fun, supportive environment.

“Speaking in front of others can be intimidating at any age,” said Ani Breedlove of Grand Junction Toastmasters. “Our goal is to create a welcoming, encouraging space where young people can find their voice, build confidence, and have fun while discovering what they are capable of.”

During the four-week program, participants will have opportunities to:

• Speak with Confidence: Overcome nerves and find their voice.
• Lead with Impact: Develop practical leadership skills they can use every day.
• Think Critically: Organize ideas and communicate clearly.
• Grow & Connect: Meet new friends while building confidence and leadership potential.
