United Way of Mesa County announced the 2026-27 grant recipients from its Community Impact Fund, a yearly grant that supports Mesa County health and human service nonprofits.

This grant cycle, United Way of Mesa County is supporting 26 programs run by 20 local nonprofits, an increase from past years. Grant amounts range from $2,000 to tens of thousands of dollars depending on program need and available funds.

“The Community Impact Fund Grant not only financially supports dozens of the county’s most utilized and capable nonprofit programs, but it creates long-lasting ties of partnership that leads to multi-organizational collaboration and major change,” United Way of Mesa County Executive Director Cassidy Lujan said. “We are endlessly grateful for our community partners, grantees, and supporters that work tirelessly to make Mesa County the place we want to live with our families, friends and neighbors.”

The grant awardees this year are:

Clifton Christian Church Food Bank; the Christ Center; Colorado Discover Ability; Community Food Bank; Counseling and Education Center; Doors 2 Success; Dyslexia Foundation of Western Colorado; Foster Alumni Mentors; Friends of Youth and Nature; the Gift of Love Inc.; Grand Valley Catholic Outreach; Harmony Acres Equestrian Center; Hilltop Community Resources; HopeWest; Mesa County Libraries Foundation; Mutual Aid Partners; Pro Bono Project of Mesa County Inc.; Riverside Education Centers; Toilet Equity; and Western Slope Center for Children.
