Registration is still under way for restaurants, wineries and other food and beverage businesses that want to participate in an upcoming event in Palisade pairing fine foods and drinks.
“We welcome anyone who would like to join us,” said Anne Tally, co-owner of the Wine Country Inn, which will host Edesia on March 29. “We’ve had a great early response, but there is always room for more wonderful culinary and wine or spirits products or services. The event just gets better every year.”
Vendors at Edesia provide bite-sized samples or small sips of food and drinks for 300 to 400 guests. No vendor fees are charged, but information is needed to help vendors showcase their products and services, Tally said. For more information, vendors should call 464-5777 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Edesia will include a VIP luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the main event from 1 to 5 p.m. Tickets to the luncheon sell for $125 and include admission to the main event. Tickets to the main event alone sell for $75. For tickets or more information, visit www.edesiapalisade.com.
Named for the Roman goddess of fine food and drink, Edesia serves as a benefit for the Marillac Clinic, which provides health care services to uninsured Mesa County residents with low and moderate incomes.
