Veritas Injury Lawyers announced two of its attorneys stepped into influential leadership roles in the area, the firm said in a news release. Joseph H. Azbell has become President of the Mesa County Bar Association, and managing shareholder Keller A. Caubarreaux has been selected to serve as Region 6 Vice President of the Colorado Bar Association.

Azbell, who took on his new role July 1, said, “Serving as president of the Mesa County Bar Association is one of the greatest honors of my career. Our local bar does incredible work supporting attorneys and expanding access to justice in our community, and I’m thrilled to help build on that momentum.”

Caubarreaux took on his Region 6 VP duties in April after being selected for it by the Colorado Bar Association’s Leadership Selection Committee. Region 6 encompasses the Four Corners, Mesa County, Seventh Judicial District, and Southwestern Colorado Bar Associations, spanning much of Colorado’s Western Slope.
