Wells Fargo has reopened its location on the Mesa State College campus in Grand Junction in the newly constructed student center.
“The new student center is an outstanding facility and tremendous asset for Mesa State and our community. We’re pleased to be a part of it,” said Steve Irion, Wells Fargo market president for Grand Junction and Clifton. “Our new store is an even more convenient location, which allows us to better serve the students, faculty, staff and visitors at Mesa State.”
The new location is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and staffed by a personal banker who can open new accounts, answer questions and help customers with their financial needs. Wells Fargo will continue to offer seminars on money management at Mesa State.
In addition to the new location, Wells Fargo has installed inside the main entrance of the student center a new, state-of-the-art automated teller machine. The envelope-free machine accepts check and cash deposits simultaneously. In addition to English, transaction screens on the machine offer six languages: Chinese, French, Hmong, Korean, Spanish and Vietnamese. The option for Russian will be added in December.
“This is an easier, faster way to make a deposit,” Irion said. “The machine does all the work for you and it’s a more elegant design. All of our ATMs in Mesa County will be upgraded to this new machine before Thanksgiving.”
