Wienerschnitzel to offer Vets Day meals and selling chili sauce

Wienerschnitzel will serve free meals to active and retired members of the armed forces in celebration of Veterans Day on Nov. 11. The quick-service hot dog chain also had made available for purchase its chili sauce in 15-ounce cans.

Wienerschnitzel will serve complimentary meals that include a chili dog, small fries and small Pepsi on Veterans Day. Guests should present their military identification or wear their uniforms.

“The Wienerschnitzel family is honored to serve active and retired members of our military and offer them a token of our appreciation for their commitment, bravery and hard work,” said Cindy Galardi Culpepper, chief executive officer of Wienerschnitzel.

In addition, Wienerschnitzel now sells for $5 cans of its chili sauce.

“Our fans were always asking our team members if they could buy the chili sauce we use on our hot dogs, burgers and fries. We listened, and we’re happy to offer our customers a new way to enjoy Wienerschnitzel at home whenever or however they want,” said Doug Koegeboehn, chief marketing officer.
