Workshops are planned for Montrose and Rifle as part of a statewide effort to help applicants of grants offered through historic preservation programs.
Staff with the History Colorado State Historical Fund will present the workshops to offer information and answer questions about preparing competitive grant applications.
Workshops are set for July 15 in Montrose City Hall and July 16 in the Rifle Library. The workshops are free, but registration is required. To register or obtain more information, contact Kristi Roberts at (303) 866-3493 or email@example.com.

“SHF is a state-sponsored program dedicated to providing nonprofits and municipalities with the educational and financial resources they need in order to preserve historic sites. Our staff understands that the grant application process can be daunting, and we’re here to help make the process easier,” said Cynthia Neib, deputy director.
