State legislator earns award from housing group

A Mesa County state legislator and businesswoman has earned recognition for her support of mortgage lending and foreclosure counseling services legislation. Housing Colorado presented State Rep. Laura Bradford, R-Collbran, with its 2011 Legislator of the Year award. Housing Colorado offers affordable housing education, information and advocacy.
