Museums of Western Colorado presents Dinos on the Rocks: Prehistoric Fun Meets Craft Cocktails.

From 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Dinosaur Journey will transform for an adults-only night at the museum featuring original cocktails and mocktails from local competitors, heavy appetizers, music, a silent auction, Liquor Pull, and after-hours access to the museum.

Guests will taste their way through the competition and cast their votes for Best Cocktail, Best Mocktail and Most Creative, with the winning bars & restaurants taking home Dinos on the Rocks’ signature dinosaur claw awards.

“Dinos on the Rocks gives people a completely different way to experience Dinosaur Journey,” said Mollie Shepardson, Director of Development & Communications. “It’s such a fun night out that celebrates some of the creative businesses in our community while raising important support for the Museums.”

General Admission tickets are $40 and include tastings, heavy appetizers, and one full-size drink token. VIP tickets are $70 and include quick entry, a dedicated VIP entrance, two full-sized drink tokens and an MWC gift. The event is for guests 21 and older.

Proceeds from Dinos on the Rocks support the Museums of Western Colorado and its exhibits, educational programs and opportunities for discovery throughout the year.
