Families are invited to dig into a full day of prehistoric fun during Dinosaur Day at Dinosaur Journey on June 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hosted by the Museums of Western Colorado, Dinosaur Day will feature interactive activities, educational stations, fossil-themed crafts, paleo lab tours, games and local community partners throughout the museum. Food will be available from Jukebox Jamboree Food Truck.
“Dino Day is one of our favorite ways to connect families with science in a hands-on, memorable way,” said Jannae Moon, public programs manager with Museums of Western Colorado. “This event is all about sparking curiosity and helping people of all ages experience the excitement of discovery together in the dinosaur museum.”
Dinosaur Day admission is $5 for children and $7 for adults. As this event serves as a fundraiser for the Museums of Western Colorado, memberships and regular admission discounts will not apply during the event. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door only.
