The Western Colorado Contractors Association presented a check for $700 to the Colorado Mesa University Construction Management Club during an event Sept. 25 at CMU Tech’s Archuleta Center. The funds were raised from the annual WCCA Trap Shoot on Aug. 8 at the Grand Junction Trap Club in Grand Junction.

The CMU Construction Management Club meets weekly on campus to provide construction-management majors with a place to meet other construction-management students outside of the classroom, help each other with challenging coursework and network with contractors to get a head start for when they graduate.
