Kathleen DuHamel has joined the Mesa County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program as coordinator of the Money Saving Medicare Program (MSMP).
In her new position, DuHamel will develop, market and promote MSMP, a part of the agency’s Senior Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). Both MSMP and SHIP help consumers in making informed decisions about Medicare and lower their prescription drug and overall health care costs through programs that help pay Medicare Part B and D monthly premiums.
Prior to joining Mesa County RSVP, DuHamel served as local manager of the 2010 U.S. Census. She’s also been a small business owner in the Grand Valley.
